During our trip to London in Spring, I was most looking forward to our stay at Artist Residence London, a vibrant boutique hotel in Pimlico, central London. You’ll find 10 bedrooms located over 2 floors with unique, fizzing with original works of contemporary art and quirky furnishings. Although it certainly doesn’t feel like you’re staying at a hotel, but rather a charming residence or guest house. Just 5 minutes from Victoria Station, one of London’s main transport hubs, this place is simply a must if you’re visiting the city.
We had the opportunity to stay in the Grand Suite and I’m still dreaming about it to this day. The perfect romantic bolthole or for business guests who want a luxury pied-à-terre! It features a four-poster super-king size bed, huge cast iron freestanding bath, sitting area for 4, sunny sash floor to ceiling windows, limited edition prints & bespoke furniture.

The Cambridge Street Kitchen is the hotels shabby-chic cafe and restaurant located on the ground floor and open all day serving breakfast through to dinner. It has a great atmosphere, whether you choose to get cosy in the corner with a book and enjoy a mid-afternoon snack and a glass of wine. You’d definitely find me stopping by for a coffee or leisurely brunch even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel.
Deep in the basement, the Clarendon Cocktail Cellar is a luscious den, buzzing with guests and locals alike. It has a dangerously delicious cocktail menu, serving up hand-crafted cocktails inspired by works of art.
