A couple weeks back I had the opportunity to stay at the incredible Penthouse suite at Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne. From the moment we checked in, everything was seamless and smooth. Based on Queen Street, in what I consider to be the perfect base when exploring the city, Adina recently underwent a renovation and is now home to some of the biggest apartments in the city.
In the hotel’s upper floors, you’ll find three bedroom apartments and one bedroom suites fitted out with full sized dining tables, modern furniture, spacious closets and fully equipped kitchens. Down in the lobby, you’ll find an inviting lounge area with books and a gas fireplace. The hotel also features its own indoor lap pool with an outside terrace area, gym area and sauna, perfect for every kind of traveler.
We were lucky enough to experience one of the Penthouse apartments on the 21st floor which somehow felt both homely and luxurious. With two floors, a dining area, lounge, study nook, full kitchen and bedroom, it was extremely spacious yet managed to give us a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. It definitely was not an easy place to leave.
If you’re planning a visit to Melbourne any time soon, or keen for a staycation in your own city, I couldn’t recommend Adina Apartments enough. If you want to feel like an escape in the heart of it all, it’s the perfect place to do so. Sometimes it was hard to believe we were right in the middle of the city with a tram stop on our doorstep.
