Falling for Neutrals

I can’t exactly pin point when it happened, but all of a sudden, I’ve started falling for neutrals. This is kind of big coming from me considering 99.5% of my wardrobe is black. There’s something very refreshing and pretty about neutrals – shades of beige, blush and nude. I consider myself to have a classic clothing personality, therefore neutrals have become an indispensable part of my closet.

Combined with my love of wrap dresses, it was almost fate when I saw this pretty little number from Tobi. The colour is called “toast” and depending on the light, it can look from a nude to a blush. It’s also available in a gorgeous navy colour (currently sold out).

I pulled together the look with a white/cream purse and these block heels, which added a bit of a statement. What I love most about this dress is its versatility – I can see myself wearing this to the office as easily as to dinner or evening drinks. It all boils down to the way you accessorize it.

I must add a special note about these beautiful bracelets from Minimalist Jewellery, which I’ve received so many compliments on. As a true minimalist when it comes to jewellery, I haven’t been able to take these lovely pieces off. I love the simple yet unique detail each one entails and I’m pretty sure I’ve been asked at least once a day where they’re from. They’re super affordable and make the perfect accessory to my favourite Kapten & Son watch too.
