Pancakes worth getting out of bed for
If there’s one thing that can get me out of bed on a weekend, it’s pancakes. Chances are you’re reading this because you’re a fan of pancakes too, but you also love to eat healthy. Well, you’ve come to the right place. As much as I LOVE buttermilk pancakes, they’re packed with sugar and greased in butter so they don’t leave me feeling too great afterwards.
Majority of you have probably already seen those 2-ingredient pancakes (eggs + banana) and whilst I admire the simplicity, they can be quite flimsy, thin and flavourless. They lack that fluffiness which is what I love most about a pancake.
After some recipe researching and a lot of testing, I think I’ve finally found the best healthy pancake recipe! And don’t worry, I still kept ingredients to a minimum so they’re still quick and easy to whip up.
These pancakes are light, fluffy and taste like the real thing. You can dress them up with any toppings you’d like, but I’ve left my favourites in the recipe below!
