Skincare Products That Have Made a Difference

I’ve always had a love for skincare but often find myself neglecting steps such as taking off my makeup at night (I know it’s so bad please don’t kill me) and going too long without moisturising.

So I’ve been making an effort to implement a morning and nighttime skincare routine and the results are really starting to pay off. My complexion been brighter, clearer and a lot smoother. Here’s a few products in which I’ve been using that I feel have made a world of difference.

Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial. I love face masks. They’re one of my favourite beauty things to do because they instantly perk up your complexion. Most masks take a lot of time, and while that’s all well and good if I’m having a pamper night, usually that’s one thing I don’t have. That’s where this one minute facial steps in. Although I’ve always used face masks at night, this one is perfect for mornings when you and your skin are feeling dull and tired. Apart from that, it removes blackheads! I suffer with some and I have to say I’ve definitely noticed they’ve cleared up after using this every few days. Oh, and it literally saves your face after a big night out. Tried and trusted.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I’ve seen this French beauty elixir making the rounds on blogs for some time now and I cannot believe it’s taken me this long to try it (story of my life though). It’s a toning mist that helps awaken the skin in the morning and is brilliant for travel – hello long haul flights! You can use it under your makeup but I love spritzing it over makeup to help set it. It leaves your skin glowing and polished, kind of like you’ve got it all together even if you don’t. The French always have the best beauty tricks.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I’ve used these pads for some time now and they remain a staple in my skincare routine. They balance and brighten my complexion and diminish any potential break-outs. A lot of toners I’ve used in the past have left my skin dry and stinging, but these always leave me hydrated and actually help my skin absorb moisturizers better. It’s a very gentle toner free of any harsh chemicals and perfectly safe for sensitive skin girls.

Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. So this mask is kind of like my new BFF. I don’t use it as regularly as the flash rinse 1 minute facial, I use it a couple times a week for a more intense treatment. It’s a 10-minute mud mask with a velvety formula made with French sea clay. Not only does it exfoliate your skin, but it also pulls out all the dirt and impurities leaving your skin feeling like you’ve stepped out of a 1-hour facial. Plus it smells INCREDIBLE, I literally want a candle made out of it. I’ve already ordered the full size version because I can’t imagine life without it anymore.

AND I have a little treat for you all. If you spend over $30 from Feel Unique, use the code TSCF10 in the checkout for 10% off. Happy shopping!

  • I suck at skincare. It’s my lazyness at night. So I’ve recently made the promise to at least take off my make-up every night, and use a gentle face wash in the morning. I love the idea of a 1-minute facial! In fact I love all 4 products here, they sound super lovely.

    • Me too! I’m the worst after a night out. Hopefully it improves for both of us haha. The 1 minute facial is a lifesaver!

  • I couldn’t agree more with this post Angela! i adore Ren’s 1 minute facial, I’m so busy and often forget to do a twice weekly mask session, and this is super useful. I’ve actually just run out of my beauty elixir, I need to get some more now! I’ve had First Aid Beauty’s facial radiance pads for quite a while now and i couldn’t be happier with them, so easy and effective. Glam glow is just a thing of the gods!

  • I’ve been meaning to pick up the Glamglow youthmud for months now but I keep putting it off because of the price! I think my skin would really benefit from using it so I guess I should start saving!

  • I swear by the Nip+Fab Glycolic Extreme pads – they smoothed out the bumpy skin texture on my cheeks and reduced my pores. These might be a bit strong for sensitive skins though (include glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid). I use them daily but others may only need them once or twice a week.
