It was only up until a year ago I tried frozen mango for the first time and discovered it’s just about the best thing ever. Better still, when it’s blended into a smoothie (or a smoothie bowl) it creates a creamy, smooth, & fluffy consistency similar to frozen yogurt (also the best thing ever).
This is what I call the perfect summer smoothie. It’s refreshing, healthy and super simple to make. It wont take you any longer than a few minutes.
1 cup frozen mango chunks
¼ cup (2 ounces) plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup vanilla soymilk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Add all ingredients to a blender until smooth!
If you prefer your smoothie thicker, add 1/2 cup of soy milk. Alternatively you can use other dairy/non dairy milk but it wont have the same consistency.
