Sunday Things

I stumbled upon that photo of the Eiffel Tower as I was going through my photos earlier this week, and I even drafted this post up on Thursday with it, reminiscing on one of my favourite Paris moments. After the horrific attacks on Friday, I feel it’s only appropriate to leave it there. What a sad time for one of the most beautiful cities, and not to mention Beirut and Baghdad. It’s upsetting to see how they were overlooked in the media, especially as it was Lebanon’s deadliest attack in years.

This Instagram account is the exact reason I need a pug.

• It’s official, I’m in love with these shoes. Also these ones in black. I don’t think I’ll ever get over this lace up trend.

• After reading this article, I’m feeling the need to travel to India.

  • All of the attacks are so upsetting, I hope the people who survived can recover from them.

I’ve always wanted to see India too! Lovely post :)

    • Agreed, Cherie! India seems like such a wonderful place :) x

  • Thankyou for mentioning the other cities too. All innocent lives lost is a terrible tragedy, but it really is heartbreaking to see how biased the media is for white lives..
stunning photography btw, love your dress ^_^

    • I couldn’t agree more Iqra, Beirut and Baghdad have not been mentioned in any of the extensive media coverage I’ve seen. All lives are equal.

    • I know it really is heartbreaking! and thank you Iqra :) x

  • Gorgeous photos I agree, it’s sad how the other cities didn’t get much of a look in, in the media. It’s heartbreaking, no matter what city <3

    • Completely agree with you Beckie :) x

  • This weekend was heartbreaking. When things like that happen, I need to remind myself that there is still so much good in the world, when everything seems so bleak.

    • It’s so true! Hopefully things start to recover soon and we’ll see some good around the world x
