The 10 Best Bars in Bali


1. Rock Bar
location Jl. Karang Mas Sejahtera, Ayana Resort, Jimbaran

Most probably my favourite spot in Bali is Rock Bar at Ayana resort. It’s in a world of its own and something you should definitely not miss if you’re planning a visit to Bali. It sits on the edge of its own private beach, surrounded by the resorts pools with stunning cocktails, which range between $18-22.


2. Single Fin Bar
location  Jalan Raya Uluwatu, Kuta Selatan, Badung

Single Fin comes in a very close second, although they do hold the BEST Sunday sunset sessions hosting live bands and Dj’s. This bar is the epitome of chill & all round good vibes. Share a pizza, sip on a margarita and watch that iconic sunset.


3. La Plancha
location Jalan Mesari Beach, Seminyak, Kuta, Badung

A colourful and vibrant Spanish beachfront bar and a must for foodies. Its two-levels features incredible views to the sunsets and dining under the stars. Grab a beanbag and enjoy the ultimate chill-out session.

4. Hu’u Bar
location Jl. Petitenget, Seminyak, Kabupaten Badung

Whether you are looking for casual relaxation or an all-out party weekend, the house of hu’u is the place that provides the best of both worlds. It’s renowned for attracting celebrities and hosting many famous international DJs.

5. Unique Rooftop Bar
location Rimba Jimbaran Bali, Jalan Karang Mas Sejahtera, Jimbaran

A chill, luxurious spot at the Rimba Jimbaran Bali, which is the sister resort venue to the famous Rock Bar just next door. From a 25-meter infinity pool, alfresco settings and fancy martinis, this spot is surely one to add to the bucket list.

6. Luna Bar
location Jl. Raya Seminyak, Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

One of the trendiest roof pads in Seminyak, the Luna Bar overlooks paddy fields and the Bali skyline with beautiful ocean views. It’s the ideal spot for an airy sunset cocktail session, Asian tapas and all round summer vibes.

7. Double Six Rooftop Bar
location Double Six Luxury Hotel, No. 66, Double Six Beach, Seminyak

This rooftop bar is 15m above sea level and sprawls over 1700sqm. It features a fire pit cooking skewered bar food, tiki-inspired cocktails, a silent cinema called Pineapple Studios, and unparalleled views of Bali’s most-loved Double Six beach.

8. Ku De Ta
location Jl. Kayu Aya No. 9, Seminyak

The lively beachside setup comprises a main French bistro-esque restaurant area, a dedicated bar, a centerpiece lawn and a private loft for VIPs. The beach-lounge vibe, often enhanced by DJ-fueled dance parties, charity events and hip fashion shows, remains the venue’s focal point.

9. Woo bar
location Kerobokan, Jl. Petitenget, Seminyak

This ultra-modern venue boasts an under-beach dance floor and a chill zone on the upper deck. Expect a fun night of cutting-edge mixology, cocktail-inspired shisha tobacco and delicious tapas-style dishes.

10. Moonlite Kitchen and Bar
location Jl. Abimanyu (Dhyana Pura), Seminyak

Featuring panoramic Indian Ocean views, Moonlite Kitchen and Bar (formerly SOS Bar & Grill) reopened in March 2015 after  closing for renovation. It showcases a trendy bar lounge, timing seductive cocktails with sunset and chill out DJ tracks until late.
