Cruelty-Free Mineral Approved Makeup

I’m all about natural, cruelty free makeup if you guys hadn’t guessed yet from my previous vegan makeup haul & love for mineralogie. Today I’m back with another haul from Arbonne & Cosmetics by Sia!

SO. Let’s start with the bases. The perfecting liquid foundation is most certainly a fave from the collection. It’s applies beautifully and blends into skin really well. I’d describe it as a light to medium coverage but certainly buildable without looking cakey. It does smell quite like sunscreen & almost has a similar texture. I couldn’t think of a more ideal foundation for Summer. You’ll also be happy to know it lasted all day (with powder) annnd was super moisturising. Oh and it comes with a pump, so big thumbs up from me!

I found the cream concealer provided the perfect amount of coverage for me, that being medium. It works better covering spots than anything, as it does tend to settle into some fine lines when I use it directly under the eye.

Can we just talk about how amaze linden is?! This is the perfect colour to use as a lip plumping gloss (esp in my lip contouring tut < bit of a throwback hey). The glosses could be worn alone or on top of a lipstick, because they’re really not too sheer. You could even just dab on a bit for some colour. They are suuuper glossy, but not like, sticky glossy.

Mimosa is another really lovely colour, but tends to cling to dry areas & look a little patchy at the start. Once the gloss fades, it does however leave you with a gorg coral/pink stain.

I died over dusty rose. It’s probably up there with one of my all time fave blushes. I wish I could invite all of you over just to see how damn perfect this blush is. It’s almost like using a bronzer and blush together, it warms up your cheeks and just looks incredibly gorgeous. The name couldn’t be more fitting. Blossom is another blush shade that is just as beaut. It’s almost like a peach/pink with gold shimmer running through it. It reminds me of Sleeks Rose Gold shade, but leans more towards peach.

Doesn’t this colour just scream Autumn? This lip polish in Raisin is just the kind of colour I’d go for. It is sooo similar to MAC’s Quick Tease, a mix of garnet and deep purple. It has an iridescent shimmer which you can still see once applied, but the formula is thinner compared to most lip glosses. This makes it a bit patchy to apply at first BUT once the gloss fades it does leave a pretty stain. I’ve worn this a few times and always receive compliments about how it makes green eyes pop!

The lipsticks are by Cosmetics By Sia, & they were kind of a hit and miss with me. The colours are gorg as ever and they provide a sheer splash of colour. They’re hydrating but your lips will need a good exfoliation beforehand, given that they are quite sheer.

Kinky Kristy was my fave of the two, for a few reasons. It’s a colour I’d generally gravitate towards for Spring/Summer, plus it suits my skin tone. Jazzi jackie just didn’t quite do it for me quite as much, it was a bit too sheer and totally clashed with my skin tone. It has a lot shimmer so I could probably find use for it over another orange/coral lipstick, so really, not a complete loss!
