I am super excited about today’s post because it’s about two things I love dearly, Burts Bess & Autumn. I absolutely swear by Burts Bees products, particularly during the colder months, when everything is in need of extra hydration. They’re one of my top picks if you’re looking for products that will give your skin some much needed TLC.
I have this weakness for facial oils. I just think if you’re going to invest in a luxury skincare product, serums are the way to go. I have accumulated a bit of a collection because of my obsession, and Burts Bees radiance serum has made it to the front, which is kind of a big deal. And just look at that packaging! I love that all the products have a vintage feel to them.
Burts Bees lip products were the first things that got me hooked. Since then, they’ve expanded their range and I am all for their new additions. These two are hydrating enough to keep your lips moisturised and still provide colour. The rose tinted balm is something I keep in my handbag for a spruce of colour when I’m feeling it.
Ruby moon is probably my favourite out of the two. When it’s first applied, it’s SERIOUSLY pigmented and glossy. The gloss tends to fade on me after about 15-30 minutes, but it does leave this amazing colour stain.
Totally ditching plain towelettes for these from now on. These facial cleansing towelettes feel & smell (the pink grapefruit = love!!) much nicer than any other ones I’ve ever used. They cleanse and tone your skin one step, which is rather convenient when you’re feeling too lazy to properly remove your makeup.
The daily moisturising cream is for you sensitive skin gals. The cotton extract in it stops it from causing any redness or irritation. I don’t have sensitive skin myself, so I can’t comment on that part, but it absorbs into my skin really easily leaving it silky smooth each time.
For days I’m lacking some serious hydration, the cream cleanser becomes my new BFF. I’ve also loved using it as a makeup remover. It scrubs & cleans, but also softens the skin for a perfect balance.
The radiance eye cream is a thicker consistency compared to the other products, so it takes a while longer to absorb. I wouldn’t expect miracles in terms of reducing lines and all that, but it does add a lot of moisture and hydration keeping under the eyes looking a fuller & healthier.
Have you ever tried Burts Bees products? What are your Autumn beauty essentials?
