Everyone who knows me well, tries their best to keep me away from the drugstore’s cosmetic aisle, because chances are I’ll be there for the good part of an hour. As much as I love the occasional high end splurge, I also really enjoy walking away having not completely crippled my bank account. Here’s 7 of my my favourite beauty budget buys, for under $15.
Rimmel Match Perfection, $12.95: Many of you will be familiar with this product, because it sure is making the rounds on beauty blogs everywhere – and for good reason. It’s buildable, dewy finish feels lightweight and makes the perfect everyday foundation.
Australis Primer, $13.95: From memory, this is the first primer I ever used and still one that I will continue to repurchase. It definitely improves your makeups lasting time, plus it’s SPF free, which makes it ideal for night time use.
Kate Rimmel Lipsticks, $6.95: These lipsticks range from $4.95 – $7.95, depending which collection, which is incredible value for money. Apart from the gorgeous shade range, the formulas are non-drying and really comfortable to wear.
Essence All About Matte, $6.15: Honestly one of the most amazing budget buys you can get, I find this perfect for setting under eye concealer as it does leave the area looking bright.
NYX Eye Shadow Base Primer, $12.95: I already reviewed this a while back over here, so you can have a more in depth read on it if you’d like. It still continues to be a favourite of mine, and makes applying eyeshadow a lot easier.
Maybelline’s Master Precise, $13.95: Again, I did review this in an earlier blog post over here. I haven’t purchased many eyeliners since, because none are as easy to apply or give me the same precision.
Maybelline’s Super Stay Gel Nail, $7.95: I featured this nail polish in my December favourites, and I still absolutely love the formula. It lasts up to 5 days without chipping, and the brush makes it enjoyable and easy to paint my nails.
