I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve done a makeup haul! There’s so many makeup products I’ve been loving lately, here’s just a few from some of my favourite vegan brands including Mineralogie & Arbonne cosmetics..
For those of you who are unaware, Mineralogie is the leading provider of mineral based cosmetics worldwide. I’m all for any type of makeup brand that doesn’t test of animals! Their products are just gorgeous and so beautifully packaged.
First up is this Lux Creme Eye Shadow stick ($38) in Rose Quartz. I’m always in a rush so any type of eye shadow stick or cream is perfect for me. This twist up eye shadow is the perfect everyday shade and it pairs so well with a smokey liner. You can also apply it under an eye shadow to brighten it up, acting as an eye brightener as well as an eye shadow. It’s very delicate and soft, so I will stress to be gentle with it. I love using it on the inner corners of my eye, so pretty!
I am in love with this Pressed Blush and Bronzer duo ($49.95), although I actually find the ‘blush’ shade more suited to a highlighter. It gives a gorgeous and subtle glow when applied to the top of the cheekbones. I find the bronzer a bit too light to apply for the night but it’s a lovely everyday colour. I can test to it being sturdy and travel-friendly, plus it comes with a mirror which is always a win!
The second brand I’ve been loving is Arbonne cosmetics. A brand I’ve only recently tried and have been so impressed with the quality of their products. The two eye shadows here are in Java and Smoke Fumee ($27.95). Java, the darker brown shade is a matte eye shadow and Smoke Fumee is a shimmer. They’re both extremely pigmented and work so nicely together for quick everyday go-to. I have honestly been so impressed by the quality of these eye shadows, I’ve already got my eye on a couple more of the colours. Smoke Fumee is probably my favourite of the two, but you guys know I’m a sucker for anything shimmery The best part is again, it’s a vegan company so all the ingredients are natural and free from animal testing!
Lastly, this beau-ti-ful red Lipstick in Strawberry ($37) is one of the most gorgeous strawberry red shades I’ve ever worn. It just glides on and feels so creamy smooth on the lips, conditioning and hydrating them at the same time. If you have smaller lips you’ll find this so easy to apply as the applicator is quite smaller than a traditional lipstick. I’d call it the perfect Winter lipstick as it does not dry out your lips whatsoever.
Have you tried either of these brands before? Let’s chat in the comments!
