First off is a hidden gem that I recently rediscovered in my makeup stash, the Roll On Shimmer ($4) by NYX in the shade ‘Salmon’. If any of you know me, I’m a huge fan of glitter/shimmer anything so this is right up my alley. You just roll it onto your eyelids, I suggest using a primer underneath and MAC Fix+ on top though as it does budge quite quickly, but that doesn’t phase me as I’m in love with the colour!
Most of you guys already know my love for Subtle Energies’ Facial Blend ($85) if you read the blog, as I reviewed it here. It’s now a definite staple in my skincare routine and I serum I absolutely swear by.
A new obsession has evolved with Lanolips. Not only is the packaging gorgeous, but these do an amazing job at actually moisturising and repairing your lips (plus, they smell delicious too!). I got my 101 Ointment in Peach ($13.95) with the October issue of Elle magazine, but I can definitely see me picking up the rest of the collection. Another lip product I’ve been loving is from Chaptick’s Limited Edition sweet range, their ‘Cake Batter’ Lip Balm. Yes. Cake Batter. And yes, it’s the most amazing thing ever. (Note: refrain from eating).
I don’t think I’ve ever ventured into Dove hair care until now, after I saw their Pure Care Dry Oil ($19.99) making the rounds in the blogger world. It’s contains African Macadamia Oil & I’ve been applying it to damp hair after every time I wash it. I’ve noticed it’s been a lot less dry than it usually is, also making it easier to style after. Thumbs up from me!
