Packaged in what resembles slim-line black bullets, this collection earns its name for its high comfort, long-lasting wear with a modern matte finish.
The Napoleon Perdis Mattetastic Lipstick in Sophia* ($38) is one of the prettiest, most wearable colours I own. A pink nude that is the perfect partner to almost any makeup look, especially a smokey eye. Although these claim to be a matte finish, I find the formula much more creamy and smooth. If you often have dry lips, I wouldn’t be afraid of these as they actually feel very moisturising. They last up to a few hours before having to reapply and contains Vitamin E to help your lips feel hydrated and soft. The only downside I can see is some people might have trouble with application due to the shape of the lipstick. It does take a bit of getting used to but it’s well worth it. They remind me somewhat of YSL lipsticks because of the shape!
The Auto Pilot Overnight Lip Balm* ($29) is a luxe-feel balm to protect and moisturize dry lips while you sleep. It contains beeswax and Vitamin E to condition and soften the lips. It can also be used to prep and prime your lips if they are dry, very similar to MAC’s Prep + Prime. This leaves your lips feeling so soft, moisturised and has been an absolute life saver for me, especially during the colder days. I love to use it right before bed so it’s definitely become a staple on my bedside table. It’s not sticky in the slightest and absorbs right into your skin, leaving it silky smooth. Oooh yeah!
