I’ve had a recent obsession with matte lip creams since I purchased Australis’ Velourlips (review coming soon!) so as soon I saw these I had to buy them. Firstly, there’s a wonderful range of 16 shades to choose from and being the indecisive person I am, I couldn’t just leave with 1 colour. I ended up purchasing ‘Drama Queen’ and ‘She’s Not Me’. Also, they smell so good – almost like a bag of berries or fruits!
The formula is absolutely amazing. They’re so creamy and pigmented you only need one swipe across your lips and you’re done! As soon as you put on more than one layer (which you don’t need!) it refuses to dry and matte lip creams have to dry to become matte. Depending what you’re doing, they lasted on me for about 3-4 hours without having to reapply so the staying power is pretty impressive. Also, these are so moisturising being enriched with Vitamin E. They don’t dry out your lips at all which is wonderful considering they dry matte.

This gorgeous purple-plum colour is probably my favourite of the two as my plum obsession has not faded. It almost looks a touch like Rebel by MAC but a little more purple. Plus it makes your teeth look white which is always a plus.
Right: She’s Not Me
I’d describe this colour as a deep fuchsia pink almost like raspberry. It’s so fun and I can definitely see me wearing this a lot over the Summer season.
Overall, these have to be my new favourite additions to my makeup drawers and there’s no doubt I’ll be going back for more. I’m so tempted to buy their nude shades!
They both retail at $16.95 AUD which I think is amazing value for what you get. You can now buy them from the Chi Chi website which ship worldwide to cater for all their International customers.
